Director of Sports Performance

Shayne Gutierrez

We wanted to take a moment to introduce our new Director of Sports Performance, Shayne Gutierrez. Shayne will lead our athletes in the strength and conditioning program this summer. We are so excited for her leadership to improve your athletes' speed, agility, quickness, vertical touch, strength, explosion, and power!

Shayne comes to us from programming for Boise State Volleyball – where she developed a passion for training and educating athletes on how to perform at their best — in sport and beyond. She holds a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Human Performance and Exercise Science, and is currently completing her Master's in Sports Nutrition.

Shayne has also served as the head strength and conditioning coach at Glenns Ferry High School, where she founded and leads summer training camps focused on athletic development — bringing sports performance opportunities to student athletes in communities where that access didn't exist before. We believe Shayne is going to make a real difference for our athletes this summer and beyond, and we couldn't be more excited to have her on the team. If you want to stop by and meet her at your athlete's first session, or stick around to watch for a few minutes, you are more than welcome. If you need to get ahold of her for any reason, you can contact by email: strength@tvacsports.org

Outside of work, you'll find Shayne enjoying the sunshine with her husband Missa and their two boys Jaxton (6) and Matteo (4), reading a good book, or training for her next challenge — she and Missa are currently gearing up for a Hyrox in September.

Please join us in welcoming Shayne to the Idaho ONE/TVAC family.
